LEGACY DAS

We are delivering wireless access into more populated areas, too. This arrives in the form of both DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) and Small Cells – and each site needs its own solution.

Area coverage is not just a luxury any more. Clients, staff, students and visitors need or want to be fully and quickly connected, so robust coverage and capacity is a requirement for any business, property or area where people gather.

Legacy DAS Division Services include:

Indoor coverage

Legacy has performed indoor installations on all types of structures long before it was called DAS. We continue to quietly build and maintain the systems that convert signals to solutions for the problems you face with sensitive buildings or RF challenges that are difficult.

Outdoor coverage

Area coverage needs to happen so your public or clientele is served on your terms. Just being outside should not dictate whether they have quality broadband coverage. Geographic challenges, isolated properties or entire university campuses. We have proven solutions and are gearing up for 5G!

Venues

Our DAS Team has become the go-to standard for stadiums in the Northwest. College or pro, we have worked on them all. In addition, Legacy has installed more miles of fiber for concert and fair venues than anyone. Our team is your independent source for venue solutions from all the major hardware manufacturers.

What is DAS?

DAS, or distributed antenna systems is a term coined to differentiate smaller cell solutions from larger or macro cell sites. These have been renamed, or rebranded as small cells then as HetNets, or heterogeneous networks. While the names are pretty impressive, the end game is still creating a solution to your RF problem. We create RF Solutions that meet all the definitions and have been doing it for years in really cool places. Our staff has been treated to solve RF problems in some of the most recognizable places including:

  • T-Mobile Park
  • Lumen Field
  • Climate Pledge Arena
  • UW Campus
  • WSU Campus
  • Carrier office complexes and retail stores
  • Health Care Campuses
  • Public and private convention areas

Our skill sets involve solving RF dilemmas rather than just building more powerful infrastructure. This provides economic  choices for the client and aesthetic options for land or building owners. From micro cells in Magnolia to the roaring of the 12th Man at CenturyLink Field, our RF Solutions team is really your source for problem solving options.
